Description
The specimen shows multiple loose bodies ranging in diameter from less than 1 cm to 5 cm.
History
This woman, at the age of 55, presented with a 2-3 year history of recurrent locking and
swelling of the left knee. Examination showed massive swelling of the knee joint and no
suprapatellar pouch. The knee range was from 5-12 and there was little pain.
